On March 13-14, Baku hosted the international symposium “Global Perspectives in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Thyroid Cancer.” The event was jointly organized by the National Oncology Center, the Azerbaijan Oncology Society, and the Azerbaijan Nuclear Medicine Society. At the opening ceremony, Professor Aziz Aliyev—surgeon-oncologist at the Head and Neck Surgery Department of the National Oncology Center and Rector of the Baku branch of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State M
